the story

Workplace Health and Wellbeing in Uk by Work Well Hub

Renée has worked in the health and wellbeing sector for 11 years and is passionate about the benefits workplace health and wellbeing has on performance. In 2016 she undertook a Msc in Workplace Health and Wellbeing and graduated from Nottingham University in 2019 with flying colours.

Renée founded her first business, Midlands Workplace Wellbeing, whilst living in Worcestershire before moving down to the Dorset coast in 2013.  Her expert knowledge of the industry has lead her to deliver to some of the UKs largest public and private organisations. She has extensive experience in working with organisations on workplace health issues in a diverse range of sectors and specialises in the development of health and wellbeing strategies/improvement plans and absence management.

Renée specialises in delivering theory-based interventions that help organisations create happy, healthy and productive employees. Her ability to translate the complexity of workplace health into an easily understandable subject gives her an edge in the industry. Renée’s overall aim within her work is to encourage organisations to embed health and wellbeing into the culture of business through strategy development and delivery. Having previously worked in both public and private sector organisations she has a clear understanding of the health and wellbeing issues organisations face.

Renée has spoken and exhibited at the UK largest workplace health events and has held 3 national conferences attracting keynote speakers such as Professor Dame Carol Black, Health and Safety Executive and Investors in People. On a regional level Renée holds regular employer forums that connect local employers to share best practice and develop their skills in the field of workplace health and wellbeing.

When I AM not working...

I love living by the sea in Dorset and feel privileged to have achieved a near perfect work-life balance. My spare time is spent on or near the water either paddle boarding, sailing or having a family BBQ.

I have 2 small children (4 and 5) who fill my days with fun and laughter. These little people have taught me so much about life and living in the moment and how the simple things really do matter.

Undertaking my Masters Degree in Workplace Health and Wellbeing has taught me that that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself.
