Kate has worked in the health and fitness industry for 15 years before taking her expertise and knowledge of behaviour change into education for people with type 2 diabetes and obesity. Kate is passionate about helping people achieve good health by providing the information and support to create change for life.
Ever since leaving Birmingham University with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Kate has developed her knowledge about how the body and mind function and how people can adopt healthier lives. She is a master trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, qualified sports masseuse, C.H.E.K. Practitioner in Posture Analysis and Correction, Faster Diploma in Functional Performance, Holistic Lifestyle Coach and certified in Metabolic Typing (nutrition).
Kate is also a health consultant, advising companies at a strategic level on the development of type 2 diabetes structured education programmes, and is involved currently in research both at the University of Birmingham and Aston University. Kate is a published author, a presenter, and a member of the Board of the British Obesity Society.
